OMAHA (June 10, 2016) - Ten nonprofit organizations in Nebraska have been awarded a total of $100,000 in BlueHealth Advantage Wellness Grants from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska.
Each year, Blue Cross awards wellness grants to projects in greater Nebraska that show the most promise for bettering the health and well-being of community residents. Since 2008, the insurance company has awarded $334,000 in grants.
This year, Heartland Health Center received a $15,000 grant for the Stay Fit program.
